Sal e Pimenta only opened it doors on this unique location in November 2006 but is already very well known in the Santa Barbara area and way beyond.

Delicious contemperary cuisine combined with fantastic wines served to you with a smile by caring staff will make your lunch or dinner a memorable event.

The kitchen is mainly Mediterranean, with influences from France, Italy, Spain and of course Portugal but also nothern Europe and Asia

Sal e Pimenta is owned and run by dutch-portuguese couple Mike Meijnderts and Fatima Costa

All the food is prepared with day fresh products. This combined with chef Mike's talent, passion and experience result in magnificent looking dishes which taste even better,

Beside or regular menu, specials are created daily.

Vegetarian and children options are also available

Large groups,weddings and other functions up to 80 people are possible.

We carry a large selection of national and international wines.

Several of our wines and champagnes are also available by the glass.
